The opportunity
The problem we saw
Horse racing has never had a data problem. It has a data access problem. The sport generates enormous volumes of form, performance and condition data, and most of it sits fragmented across sources that do not reconcile, in formats that resist comparison, and often scattered across various platforms.
The result is a sport where serious analysis is possible but disproportionately laborious. Turf News Track (TNT Racing) is being built on the premise that the data is already there. What is missing is a platform that makes it collective, comparable, current and readable.
